The Weredog Whisperer, the sequel to The Haunted Housewives of Allister, Alabama, is receiving a coat of polish and will be heading off to First Readers by the end of the month. If all goes well, I could conceivably have a completed manuscript in my publisher's hands by Christmas or New Year's.
What's it all about?
Think National Lampoon's Vacation meets An American Werewolf in London, only on the Florida Gulf Coast during Spring break with weredogs and other assorted were-creatures that one might find in the Florida panhandle such as weregators, weresharks, and even a were-killer whale. (Oh my!) The Weredog Whisperer is one vacation you'll never forget.
